Contao
01 / Overview
Custom code, packaged properly.
A custom feature dropped into a theme file works until the next update. We package custom work as a proper Contao bundle or WordPress plugin, installed with Composer or the plugin screen, with its own settings, database tables and templates.
We have built around 30 Contao bundles and a number of WordPress plugins, from dealer finders to test-result importers.
02 / What's included
- Contao 5 bundles: content elements, front-end modules, back-end tools
- WordPress plugins: calculators, quote tools, admin pricing screens
- Finders and directories for reps, dealers and showrooms
- Importers for members, products, certifications and test results
- Self-checks that email someone when something stops working
- Upgrades of older extensions to current PHP and CMS versions

03 / How it runs
Small, tested, documented.
An extension should do one job well, say what it needs, and keep working after the people who asked for it have moved on.
01
Check the core first
If the CMS or an existing extension already does it, we configure that instead of writing code.
02
Write it as a package
Its own repository, version constraints and install steps, so it can be updated like anything else.
03
Test with real data
Imports run against a copy of the real export. Calculators are checked against every combination they can produce.
04 / From recent work
From recent work.
- A quote calculator plugin for a print shop, built with Bright Cloud Studio, replacing an old plugin that could be abused to send spam. Its prices matched the old site across all 64,768 combinations.
- Isotope variant matching on a manufacturer's store, solved by checking each variant against its related-products list.
- Rep finders, showroom finders, member and test-result importers, and a 404 guard for Contao sites.

Describe what it should do and who will use it. We'll tell you if it needs code at all.
